Our Clubhouse

A little place with a very big heart

Kiddies Clubhouse is a small, family-run daycare on Elizabeth Street in Annlin. We've stayed deliberately small β€” because children thrive when a teacher knows their name, their favourite song and exactly which cup is theirs.

Our approach is play-based and child-led. Children move between messy art, sensory tables, building corners and the garden, while teachers gently weave in the language, number and motor skills they'll carry with them into big school. Every class is named after one of the animals on our badge.

  • Qualified, first-aid trained ECD practitioners in every classroom
  • Small groups with a low teacher-to-child ratio
  • Secure premises with controlled access
  • Freshly prepared meals and snacks every day

A day at the clubhouse

Predictable days, unpredictable fun

Children settle fastest when they know what's coming next. Here's the shape of an ordinary, wonderful day.

Doors open

Soft landings, quiet corners and a proper hello for every child at the gate.

Breakfast & ring

Porridge, then news, weather, songs and the day's big question on the mat.

Discovery time

Art, water, building and dress-up stations β€” children choose where to dive in.

Outside!

Bikes, sandpit, jungle gym and the shady lawn. Rain or shine (mostly shine).

Lunch & rest

A hot cooked meal, teeth brushed, then stories and a proper nap on own mattress.

Afternoon play

Snack, free play, puzzles and quiet reading until pick-up at 17:30.

Why parents choose us

The things that matter at 5pm

Safe & secure

Controlled access, fenced grounds and a strict authorised-collection list. Nobody leaves with anyone you haven't approved.

Small groups

We cap every class deliberately low. Fewer children per teacher means more lap time, more listening, and problems spotted early.

Real, hot meals

Breakfast, a cooked lunch and two snacks prepared fresh every day. Allergies and halaal requirements catered for β€” just tell us.

Qualified teachers

ECD-qualified practitioners, first-aid certified and police-cleared, with ongoing training. Most have been with us for years.

Genuinely warm

The bit you can't put in a brochure: children who run in, teachers who know every sibling's name, and a school that feels like home.

From our parents

Don't take our word for it

My daughter cried on her first morning and cried on her last day β€” for completely opposite reasons. Three years here and she started Grade R confident and curious.

You can tell the teachers actually enjoy the kids β€” that's not something you can fake. He runs in every morning without looking back.

We moved from a much bigger school and the difference is night and day. It's small, it's warm, and my son is spoken to like a person.
